One of the missions of Village of Hope is to provide a home and education for a number of deaf children. Support from Americans has been very important in the history of Village of Hope. The Village of Hope is a special place in the Central Vietnam city of Danang. Children, who otherwise might not be cared for or educated, find a haven and a home and a large extended family there. A number of children who have grown up at Village of Hope and are now young adults have found success and a full life because of the education and support they received while at Village of Hope.
