My Joy, by Tian Free

Imagine a little four year-old girl running around the house, playing, laughing, and crying. She is one of my biggest distractions, yet one of my biggest joys. This is my little sister Chun Che. She plays an important role in my life and in my family. Yes, she is annoying at times and she gets into my stuff but what little sister or little kid doesn’t? I am so incredibly thankful to have her in my life.

Chun Che is such a joy because she has one of the most special smiles in the world. You walk in the room and her face just lights up; it makes you feel so incredibly special to know that you can make someone that happy. Not only does she have a great smile, but when she sings you can hear her all through out the house, although it sometimes sounds like a whole bunch of jumble or nonsense. Chun Che has such an out going voice that you can’t help but smile. To me her singing sounds warm and sweet, full of sensations you could never imagine. For me, being one of Chun Che’s bigger sisters is a blessing. I enjoy watching her grow up and change in so many ways. I’m looking forward to the years to come.

If Chun Che weren’t in my life I’m not sure what I would do. She brings me so much life and happiness that it is so hard to imagine life without her. I love to read stories to her, even though she chooses the same stories over and over again. When you want o to be a “kid” again and just be able to goof off, she is the perfect person to go to. There are no words that can describe the joy and happiness that my little sister brings to my life. No one can change the relationship that she and I share. All I know is that she is one of the most important people to me and the bond between us can only get stronger. I can’t wait to see how she turns out and what kind of person she will
become.
