Chen, Yi-Fan was born with Down Syndrome. His birth parents were not able to care for him and have decided that his best chance for a happy and full life is with an adopting family. Hung, Tai-Chen, D.O.B. 5/19/2001, Boy

Tai-Chen is a Taiwanese boy who is eight and a half years old and who is currently living in foster care. When Hung was only a few months old, his birth father abused him which resulted in some brain damage and vision impairment, He receives occupational and physical therapy once a week which helps with his cognitive, motor and speech developmental delay. He is enrolled in school and he is social with his foster parents and their guests.

Ho, Cheng- Lung, D.O.B. 10/25/2001, Boy

Cheng Lung is 8 years old. He is healthy, smart, social and adaptable. He went back and forth between his birth family and foster families. His parents right were terminated and he now needs a family to love and care for him.

Hung, Yu-Hsiang, D.O.B. 7/1/1999, Boy

Yu-Hsiang is ten years old. He was diagnosed as suffering Nephrotic syndrome in 2005 and has taken Prednisolone and Ca. Carbonate to control his urine pro. He attends regular school and is in the second grade. His foster father reports that Yu-Hsiang is a gentle and introversive boy. He never throws a tantrum and does not argue with other children. He was developmentally delayed, but his teachers say that he has been catching up.

Weng, Ming-Hsiang DOB: 01/01/00 – boy

Ming Hsiang and Chih-Hung are brothers whose birth mother was sent to jail for drug use while the birth father was sent to jail for fraud.  The Yunlin County Government has received a statement terminating the parental rights of the birth parents by the court on November 25, 2008.  They are currently with a foster family.

Ming-Hsiang is an excellent student and has talent for assembling toys and fixing things.  He is also good at sports.  Chih-Hung is a sweet boy who is now in Kindergarten and loves to help his teacher.  Both of the boys have been diagnosed with Hepatitis C.  The brothers are seeking a loving home and would love it if you call Heartsent Adoptions Inc. to learn more about them.

Chu, Hsiang-Ling DOB: 10/10/02 - girl

Hsiang-Ling is a wonderful girl with a sweet smile who wants to be adopted as soon as possible.  The birth parents are divorced.  The birth mother is not able to take care of Hsiang-Ling due to her mental illness.  Hsiang-Ling’s current development is within the normal range even though it was discovered that she has strabismus and mild intellectual deficiency.  Hsiang-Ling really enjoys going to school which has developed with her emotional development.

Wu, Yu-Han DOB: 02/02/01

This little girl, Wu, Yu-Han, is so sweet and happy.  Born on February 2, 2001, she is almost 9 years old.  She is currently living with a foster family but is eagerly awaiting the chance to join her new family!  Her cognitive and language development are slower than other children her age and she is receiving support with her language development.  In 2006, she was diagnosed as mildly mentally retarded.  She was born at 37 weeks with heart disease but had surgery at 6 months of age.  Currently she has no problems with her heart.  Her birth mother is certified as having mild mental retardation.  Her latest physical exam was July 6, 2009 and indicates that her eyesight is not very good and she needs to be evaluated for glasses.  

Ling, Ya DOB: 07/26/05

Ya Ling is a 4.5-year-old girl with an eager, happy personality.  She was born on July 26, 2005 and suffers from mild to moderate delays in cognitive ability, verbal understanding and language expression.  She has been offered an individual education plan (IEP) with emphasis on cognitive skills, verbal skills, and oral expression training and is responding well.  Ya Ling is currently in foster care, after being found alone by the roadside.  It is clear that her grandmother loved her, but she was unable to provide good care due to her age and limited support system.  Ya Ling has been in a few different placements along the way.

Lin, Jung-Hua DOB: 05/31/06

Born on May 31, 2006, this adorable little boy is 3 years and 7 months old and is still waiting to join his forever family!  His name is Lin, Jung-Hua and he is currently living with a foster family.  He is considered moderately developmentally delayed and is receiving early intervention.  He was born at 33 weeks with respiratory problems that were stabilized.  He has a large head that will not affect his health but he will require follow-ups in regards to his cognitive development.  His mother also smoked during pregnancy.

Jung-Hua desperately needs a mom and dad who will welcome him as their son, and will recognize that he had a harder start in life.  He needs parents who feel that they can’t wait to bring him home and share their lives with him, who will love him unconditionally and show him every day how happy they are that they finally can hold him in their arms as their son!

Yu, Chia-Hsing DOB: 11/23/07 – boy

Chia-Hsing was found in a building of Sanchong City.  As a result, there is no information on the birth parents even though great efforts were made to locate them.  Chia has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy (CP) and epilepsy.  Chia is seeking a warm and patient family that understands the issues involved with CP and would welcome having a set of parents to call “mom and dad”.

Chang, Chih-Kung, DOB: 09/23/02 - boy

Chih-Kung is a sweet boy who loves going to school and is currently living with a foster family.  Very little is known about the birth parents other than the fact that the birth mother has a history of alcoholism.

Chan, Chih-Cheng DOB: 01/06/98

Chih-Cheng is a shy and introversive child.  In October of 2003, he was diagnosed with osteonecrosis of the femoral head meaning that his left leg was shorter than the right one.  In July 2009, Chih-Cheng had reconstructive surgery for his leg.  The birth mother left Chih-Cheng at the hospital on Jan 9, 1998 and has not been heard from since then.

Tseng, Chih-Wei DOB: 05/11/02 – boy

Chih-Wei has a wonderful smile and seeking to be adopted by a loving family.  The birth mother was 17 years old when she gave birth and was unable to care for him.

Wang, Ming-Chi DOB: 03/06/01 – boy

Ming-Chi is a darling boy who is seeking a home filled with love because he does not want to be in institutional care.  He is a very smart boy and excels in both Chinese and Math.

His birth mother was a single mother who was unable to take care of Ming-Chi.  Ming-Chi was also abused and needs compassionate people who understand how abuse can affect a child.  Please call Heartsent Adoptions to learn more about Ming-Chi.

Lin, Yi-Hsiang DOB 01/19/07

Lin, Yi-Hsiang was born on January 19, 2007 and he is so cute and curious!  He is almost 3 years old.  Yi-Hsiang can’t wait to be a part of his new family!  He is currently living with a foster family.  He was born at 40 weeks and his birth mother smoked and drank moderately until she was 7 months pregnant.  His latest medical summary in October 2009 indicates that he has delays in development and language and has Strabismus and needs to see an eye doctor.    

Lin, Yi-Hsiang is waiting for parents who will wholeheartedly accept him into their lives, and love him, whatever may come!
