Meet Claire, a shy and gentle child who laughs a lot! Claire needs more time to adjust to a stranger or a new environment. She often is on high alert if a stranger is present. She lacks a sense of security and has evident separation anxiety especially when the primary caregiver gets off work. Claire is also well-motivated to explore things, but she is limited by her poor overall motor control. Her current gross motor ability is about 3 months, and her current fine motor development is about 3-5 months. She needs assistance to play most of the toys. Claire, with a Disability Card for mild Type 7 physical and mental disabilities, has been diagnosed with infantile cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Currently, Claire receives food via NG tube.
