Keegan (sibling of Ygnacio)
DOB: December 2008
Gender: Boy
Special Needs: Amblyopia, history of Kawasaki disease, microcytic-anemia, attention deficit disorder
Meet energetic, exciting Keegan! Our 9- year- old has a history of developmental delays, but has made leaps and bounds in his communication skills. He has amblyopia as well as microcytic anemia, which is suspected to be either thalassemia or iron deficiency anemia. He previously was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease, so it is necessary to keep a close eye on his condition if he has a fever. It is recommended that Keegan receives an individualized education plan to accommodate his attention deficit disorder. Keegan is an extremely active young boy who has developed a close, stable relationship with his foster family. He is very curious about the world around him but requires extra attention and encouragement while completing tasks, such as his homework assignments. If you would like to provide Keegan with a loving family and home, please contact us for more information!
