Layla
DOB: August 2006
Gender: Girl
Special Needs: Eczema, developmental delays, amblyopia, exotropia (strabismus), premature birth
This is Layla! Layla was born prematurely and received litigation for patent ductus arteriosus, as well as surgery for retinopathy of prematurity (ROP). Due to a neglectful home environment, Layla is under the care of the government. She is an easy going and open-minded girl. Layla has some delays, for which she received therapy for before entering primary school. However, she is still behind her peers and this affects her self confidence in her studies. Despite this, she is an optimistic young lady. Layla enjoys playing sports, reading comics, building with Legos, and loves pink. Though anxious about the language barrier, she is ready to have a forever family who will shower her with love and attention. Layla will surely reach her full potential in a loving home.
