Yeva (Girl) 8 Years Old
Yeva
Birthday: September 2010
Gender: Girl
Special needs: Mild physical and mental handbook, hydrocephalus, epilepsy, intervertebral disc protrusion, heart atrial septal defect, misplaced kidney.
Sweet, gentle Yeva is looking for a forever home! She was born prematurely and diagnosed with hydrocephalus soon after birth. She was also shown to have an intervertebral disc protrusion, which was corrected through surgery. She underwent heart surgery when she was four years old and is waiting to receive surgery for her kidney misplacement. She has epilepsy because of her hydrocephalus and takes medication twice daily for the condition.
Yeva has been severely neglected by her birthmother, who has a history of drug and alcohol abuse, and as a result remains underweight and developmentally delayed. She is unable to dress herself and is still unable to write numbers and Chinese phonetics. She attends a special education kindergarten during the day. Despite all of this, Yeva is a highly social little girl and has fostered a relationship with every adult in her care center. After a traumatic first few years, Yeva is hoping to find a loving, stable, caring family to call her own! If you would like to learn more about her, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
